Rozalia Christidou

She is an associate researcher at UMR 5133-Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique/Lyon 2 University, France. Her research focuses on prehistoric bone technology and includes experimentation and wear analysis as a tool to address change in technological and social behaviours. She has been involved in fieldwork and laboratory projects investigating mostly the Neolithic period and the Bronze Age in Greece, Albania, Turkey, Syria and the South Caucasus. Rozalia Christidou has received grants from the Institut français d’études anatoliennes-Istanbul, The Wiener Laboratory-American School of Classical Studies at Athens, The Institute for Aegean Prehistory, the University of Cantabria and the Deutsches Bergbau Museum-Bochum. She has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Crete, invited lecturer in various foreign academic institutions and external referee and author in international peer reviewed journals and edited volumes.
