Ruth Maicas Ramos

Doctor in Prehistory and Archaeology Ruth Maicas Ramos works since 1991 at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, currently as curator of the Department of Prehistory. In this area, her most outstanding work has been her participation in the total renovation project of the Prehistory rooms of said institution. She has developed her professional activity in the field of prehistoric archaeology and ethnology, with special attention to the bone and ceramic industry of the Iberian Neolithic and Chalcolithic societies. She was an assistant professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid between 2009 and 2012. She participates in various research projects, working with different Universities and other research centres. She has published nearly a hundred works of both, research and scientific dissemination
