Alberto Lorrio Alvarado

Professor of Prehistory at the University of Alicante and academic correspondent of the Royal Academy of History. His research has focused mainly on the Late Bronze Age and Iron Age in the Iberian Peninsula. Particularly noteworthy are his studies on Celts and Celtiberians, Tartessos and the Bronze Age-Iron Age in the Southeast and East of the Iberian Peninsula. At the present time he leads the project of investigation and excavation in the archaeological site of Peña Negra. He has participated in numerous national and international congresses, courses and seminars, having published more than 100 books and articles.
