Zhu Xuewen

He graduated from the Archaeology Department of the Northwest University. In the same year, he worked in the Qin Shihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum in the Department of Archaeology, Exhibition and Scientific Research and Planning. Currently, he is the vice president of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Qin Shihuang’s Terracotta Warriors and Qin Civilization Research Institute, deputy secretary general of Exhibition Professional Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Museum Association.

His work over the past decades involves archaeological excavation, exhibition, scientific research, etc. He presided over the archaeological excavation of G18 of the second pit of Qin’s Terracotta Warriors and unearthed the painted kneeling terracotta warriors represented by the green face. He organized more than ten cultural relics exhibitions, the «Brilliance – Qin Gold and Silver Exhibition», the «The World – Qin Unity» exhibition and the «Bronze Crown – Qin Shihuang’s Mausoleum Bronze Chariot and Horse» exhibition won the «National Top Ten Fine Exhibition Award». 

He has published more than 50 articles about Qin Terracotta Warriors, Qin culture and Qin lacquerware in periodicals and magazines such as «Cultural Relics», «Archaeology and Cultural Relics», etc. 

Graduado en el Departamento de Arqueología de Northwestern University, en ese mismo año comenzó a trabajar en el Museo del Mausoleo del emperador Qin Shihuang, en el Departamento de Arqueología, Exhibiciones e Investigación Científica. Actualmente es vicepresidente de la Asociación Provincial de los Guerreros de Terracota de Qin Shihuang en Shaanxi, y el Instituto de Investigación de la Civilización Qin, y vicesecretario general del Comité Profesional de Exhibiciones en la Asociación Provincial de Museos de Shaanxi.

Durante décadas, ha trabajado en excavaciones arqueológicas, exhibiciones e investigaciones científicas. Ha dirigido la excavación de G18, la segunda fosa del ejército de terracota, y excavó el guerrero arrodillado con la cara verde. Ha organizado más de diez exposiciones de patrimonio cultural, entre ellas “Brilliance – Qin Gold and Silver Exhibition», «The World – Qin Unity», y «Bronze Crown – Qin Shihuang’s Mausoleum Bronze Chariot and Horse» que fue reconocida con el premio a una de las diez mejores exposiciones del país.

Ha publicado más de 50 artículos sobre los Guerreros de Terracota, cultura Qin y lacado Qin en periódicos y revistas como «Reliquias Culturales», «Arqueología y Reliquias Culturales», etc.
